Fördermittel für Kultur- und Kreativbranchen
Das Europäische Parlament stimmte dem Programm Kreatives
Europa am 19. November 2013 zu und der Ministerrat (der
andere Gesetzgeber) wird das voraussichtlich am 5. Dezember
2013 tun, dann wird die Verordnung noch vor Ende des Jahres
veröffentlicht. Das Inkrafttreten von Kreatives Europa ist für
den Beginn von 2014 vorgesehen.

Umfrage zeigt Rückgang der Beteiligung an kulturellen
Aktivitäten in Europa
Wird Europa zu einem Kontinent mit weniger Interesse an
Kultur? Die Ergebnisse einer neuen Eurobarometer-Umfrage
über den Zugang zu und die Beteiligung an kulturellen
Aktivitäten — die letzte zu diesem Thema fand 2007 statt —
legen dies nahe. Zwar bestehen deutliche Unterschiede
zwischen den Mitgliedstaaten, aber im Schnitt hat die Zahl der
Europäer abgenommen, die sich als ausübende Künstler oder
als Zuschauer kulturell engagieren.

strategic vision, to ensure adequate funding and to continue
evolving a regulatory environment favouring creativity and
innovation. Our dialogue and cooperation has brought fruit.
For the first time, we have a comprehensive strategy for the
cultural and creative sectors, with the Communication we
adopted last year.
